About Us

Welcome to Myfarmbase Academy

We are a community of successful agri-preneurs, agro-industry stakeholders, smallholder farmers, regulators, financiers, enthusiasts and certified agri-consultants, with over 12,600 learners and 33,000+ community members. We are building a community that will lead agribusiness development in Africa, providing mentorship, support, knowledge and opportunity sharing.

MyFarmbase started in 2017 with a goal to empower smallholder farmers to build resilience in the face of global climate change disasters. In 2017, we had our first outreach in a local government in Abeokuta where we empowered 200+ farmers on climate-smart practices. Since then, MyFarmbase has held several trainings across Nigeria empowering thousands of farmers and inspiring the young generation to get involved. MyFarmbase has partnered, received support and recognition from The Pollination Project, Bayer Crop Science USA, The Future Project, The Future Awards, Ogun Tech Hub, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Sterling Bank, Techpoint, Binkabi, Social Media for Social Good Award, Soilless Farm Lab, BIC Farms Concept and many other companies and esteemed individuals.

MyFarmbase is synonymous with “Agricultural Technologies” and has received several awards both locally and internationally for being at the forefront of driving the use of technology in Nigeria.

In 2020, in the wake of the pandemic, we built our online learning platform and marketplace through which thousands of farmers and young people across 15+ countries have been trained by our global network of Instructors and Faculty.
